The AIDS Action CD-ROM offers all Healthlink Worldwide’s
essential information on HIV/AIDS and sexually transmitted
infections (STIs) in a fully searchable format. Hundreds of
practical articles and case studies covering care, support and
prevention can be accessed in html and pdf formats and can
also be requested by e-mail as text or html. The information
has been developed for health and community workers who work
with resource-poor communities around the world, and will be
particularly useful to people who have limited access to other
sources of information.
Written in simple, accessible English, with clear
illustrations and diagrams, the CD-ROM is packed with
resources including training manuals, briefing papers and
discussion guides. Also included are 50 issues of the
international newsletter AIDS Action, which was produced by
Healthlink Worldwide between 1987 and 2001 and reached over a
million people.
